Bridge Design & Visualizations
Hammond, Indiana
PEA worked with the City of Hammond Engineering Department and their consultants to provide 3D visualizations for roadway and pedestrian bridges throughout the City. The proposed Governor’s Parkway roadway bridge is designed to span a railway and alleviate traffic congestion through east Hammond.
The Calumet Avenue Pedestrian bridge is designed to provide a continuous trail route along the Little Calumet River to avoid at-grade crossing of Calumet Avenue. PEA assisted with the overall conceptual layout of this project.
