Soldiers Memorial Park 

Soldiers Memorial Park offers a wide variety of active and passive recreation opportunities throughout the park’s 556 acres of woodlands and water. To provide an inclusive and transparent master planning process, the project team developed a series of touch points with staff, key stakeholders and the general public to solicit feedback on the project.

A project vision and guiding principles were developed to influence the physical site planning and design alternatives. Phasing and funding strategies were developed to provide a road map for the Board to focus resources for investment. The master plan was adopted by the Board in 2019.
