Rotunda Plaza
Hammond, Indiana
PEA worked with the City of Hammond to provide the site design for a new downtown plaza as part of a large revitalization effort in the City. The plaza is designed to provide a small community gathering space along with flexible outdoor use for the new building.
The project is anchored by the relocation of the David Black “Rotunda” sculpture into the plaza. The sculpture also serves as a small stage area for community gatherings. A multi-color water feature, furnishings and amenities are provided to enhance the space and engage the downtown streetscape with the new architecture.
