PEA worked with the City of Hammond to provide the site design for a new downtown plaza adjacent to accompany a large revitalization effort in the City. The plaza is designed to provide a small community gathering space along with flexible outdoor use for the new building.
The project is anchored by the incorporation of the relocated David Black “Rotunda” sculpture into the plaza. The sculpture also serves as a small stage area for community gatherings. A multi-color water feature, furnishings and amenities are provided to enhance the space and engage the downtown and new building.
