Aukiki Park Master Plan

The Porter County Park Department purchased the 63 acre property on Indiana 49, just north of Kouts. PEA was part of the design team that developed a master plan that could be used by the Park Board to establish costs associated with developing the future park.

The master plan included six soccer fields, four softball fields, two full-size baseball fields, plenty of parking, ornamental fencing, native plant landscaping and a detention basin.

In 2024, PEA was commissioned by Porter County Parks to update the 2011 master plan and provide low-cost feasible projects to activate the south side of the property. Seeding of turf field began in 2025.
