Purdue University Northwest
PEA was engaged by Purdue University Northwest on the Hammond Campus in 2015 after many successful projects at the Westville Campus. Several buildings and main campus entries were outdated and needed a fresh design to maintain an aesthetic equal to the Westville Campus. We developed an extensive plan to update the Recreation Center, Lawshe Hall, and the Student Union/Library landscapes.
The project also included updating the campus entries on 169th and 173rd Streets. The goal was to provide more seasonal interest and give a fresh look for the students and public as they enter the campus. Several other projects were developed with the Administration after the main project was completed in late 2016.
